Abstract The focus of this study is to see if Friction Stir Processing can improve the properties an aluminium alloy with Boron Nitride (BN) particles on surface. (FSP) a new surface alteration technique that uses friction cause plastic deformation, resulting in grain refining and improved mechanical properties. To process 2024 plates, straight cylinder tool was used under varying parameters conduct tensile, hardness, wear impact studies. findings were evaluated order infer significance parameter reinforcement metal improvement effectively processed by reinforcing plates achieved significant changes
